Giant Powertex flowerhead

Since I like to use items to recycle for a lot of my Powertex projects I went to a car boot and challenged myself to buy items to repurpose in my art
This flowerhead started life as a lampshade which I added wire to to create the petals then covered them in masking tape before adding the Powertex soaked fabric
When it was dry I added styrofoam balls to the centre mixed with Powertex
Then when that was dry added the pigments and varnish!
Pretty happy with the result
