Wall hung Owl Workshop 12.01.2020

Come and make this truly mixed media owl with me using Powertex and many other recycled items it is a fairly large 13" X 9" and once it has been dried for three weeks it can be hung in the garden as Powertex is weatherproof I think it would be a fabulous addition to any wall hung inside or out!!
More details on my Facebook Page Inky Escapades
Or email me inkyescapades@virginmedia.com for a full Workshop schedule

Baubles all the way!

It is that time of year when I turn my mind to creating Christmas objects to sell at my Christmas fayres
This year still trying to recycle as much as possible I remembered I had some plastic Baubles that the tops had come off and were no longer able to hang on the tree
So in true Blue Peter fashion I decided if I wired new tops and disguised the mend with Powertex I could turn old and broken into something new and unique
I think you would agree these Baubles are far superior to plastic shiny ones!!
If you would like to come and create some of your own contact me to find out when the workshop is running!

Bottle cuff and pair of glasses or a Decorated bottle

If you are looking for a very individual gift for someone this Christmas how about two for one!
You treat yourself to a crafting experience coming to make this removeable bottle cuff and the beautifully decorated pair of glasses and then if you can bear it you can gift them to someone who deserves such a unique gift!
The glasses are fully usable once fully dried after 3-4 weeks they can be rinsed but not fully submerged in water as Powertex is weatherproof
The Workshop is on Saturday 23rd November
Or if you prefer you can come and make a Decorated Bottle which can be used as a candle holder - preferably with a dripless candle

Dare I say the "Christmas" word

I have created two Powertex Workshops with a Christmas theme if you like to make something hand made for your Christmas Decorations why not try a new skill
I will lead you through the construction process then how to rub the Powertex into the fabric and after a short break for Coffee and home made cake we will colour them - the wow part you might say!!
After I dry the pieces I will show you how to colour them with water based varnish and pigment powders the colour options are many and varied
